This happened during the tire dump scene and the Captain's bridge scene, but not in the approaching sandstorm shot.
Wall e trailer by pixar intro movie#
I noticed that when the movie shows what it looks like thru Wall-e's eyes, it's blurry. Someone responded to Woof133's post saying that Wall-e is too lovestruck most of the time around Eve to say much. Other reasons might be since its picturesque or to hide it. Almost everyone seems to miss this 's why the Axiom is parked there - to use the resources of this star forming region.

Also, there will be heat from nearby star formation. This may explain why we can hear the lovebirds conversation. The plant does have internal gases it can't lose, but the area the Axiom is in space is immediately next to a gas cloud, which has some atmosphere, mostly hydrogen and perhaps alot of water. The roach would have died if he went with Wall-e. To answer Cybearg's question about the plant dying in space. I think they really wanted to emphasize WALL-E's initial devotion to his direction and how that all changes after EVE arrives in his life. It also just keeps things flowing nicely, because it wouldn't make sense for AUTO to zap EVE (I guess that's how it would have to have been?) And then WALL-E fixes EVE and then WALL-E is getting crushed by the holo-detector on the Lido Deck.Īnd rachelcakes1985, I love that part too.

At the beginning of the film it's WALL-E being there for EVE, and at the end it's the other way around. I really like how they chose to do it, because it really shows how EVE has developed. WALL-E was originally going to be the one rescuing a broken EVE. That scene in the trailer is actually a deleted scene that will appear on the DVD/Blu-Ray, or so I have read. I would have liked to see the trailer's version of it, makes me wonder who/what Wall-E's holding off-screen in the trailer (EVE perhaps?). Thedriveintheatre wrote:And I also noticed the Wall-E/M-O introduction is different from the film and trailer too. Īnyone notice that Wall-E's hard disk was running a BIOS system check after Eve turns back when he didn't let go of her hand at the end? You can hear the noise faintly as he goes through his reboot, after the kiss kickstarted him, and before he is 'resurrected.' Thought that was a very neat aural trick there, for the computer nerds among us. Le_chocolat's explanation seems the most plausible though.Īnd I also noticed the Wall-E/M-O introduction is different from the film and trailer too.

As far as I can remember, the box was empty when he did that, and he continued to do so frantically when he saw the storm approaching. I didn't really get the part where Wall-E bashes the lunchbox against the ramp either. I can't really tell.I may have to watch the movie again as M-O doesn't really get much lines so we can't discern the extent of his vocabulary.
